Leadership Team
With life experiences and training that equip him well to serve as the Lead Pastor, Rev. Zachary (Pastor Zack) Alexander is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who loves Jesus and people. Educated at Asbury University (B.S. in Biblical Studies & Christian Leadership) and Liberty University (Master of Divinity), Zack also has been trained to offer help to those who have been battered by addiction, trauma, and other challenges. Zack’s training and experience in critical incident stress management, first responder chaplaincy, suicide prevention, and marital counseling only add to the toolbox he carries to serve PCC and folks “beyond the walls.” Pastor Zack along with his wife, Nicoll, and son, Gian, are enjoying getting to know South Jersey’s beaches and boardwalks after having spent the last couple years in the mountains of north central Colorado.

Pastor Jim Schroeder, Executive Pastor
With degrees from Stockton University, Asbury Theological Seminary, United Theological Seminary, and Rutgers Law School, Rev. James (Pastor Jim) Schroeder has not forgotten his South Jersey roots right here in Port Republic. Although Pastor Jim and his wife, Amanda, and their three young adult children, AJ, Bowen, and Katie, reside in southern Ohio, serving as the Executive Pastor is a role that Pastor Jim will be able to manage well--even remotely. Pastor Jim has broad experience in re-establishing and re-focusing both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. In this new position for PCC, Pastor Jim will come alongside Pastor Zack and the Leadership Team to enable all to succeed in accomplishing Christ’s purpose for His Church in Port Republic.
